Khura (Arunachali Buckwheat pancake) is a popular breakfast of Arunachal Pradesh. Khura or Buckwheat pancakes are super soft pancakes devoured with a cup of butter tea. And in our case case we enjoyed with jaggery syrup.
Water or chaang or beer as requiredI used around 1 cup plus 3-4 tbsp water to make the batter
Salt to taste
Butter for frying the pancakes
Instructions
In a large bowl mix buckwheat flour, water/beer and salt and make a thick batter.
Now let it rest for an hour.
Heat a skillet on medium heat and smear with butter.
Now add ladle full of batter in the skillet and spread it to make a pancake.
Cook for 2-3 minutes and then flip and cook on the other sides.
Serve it hot.
